Singapore is the UK’s largest trading partner in S.E. Asia and one of its largest export markets outside Europe.
Opportunities exist across a range of sectors, enabled by English as the official business language, political stability and a legal system based on British Common Law.
Singapore is a primary choice for trading into the rest of South East Asia due to unparalleled air connectivity and the presence of the second largest port in the world.
An open and export orientated market, 99% of imports into Singapore are duty free. Widely classed a low-risk high-potential market, Singapore is receptive to the quality and innovation that British products offer.
This market visit will help companies tap into the expertise of the British Embassy in Singapore to connect them to contacts and opportunities relevant to their business and to benefit from briefings from the Embassy Sector Specialists.
