About the South East Asia LinkThe UK Trade & Investment International Trade Team of Staffordshire Chamber Services  welcomes you to the new website link with South East Asia to promote, create and develop business opportunities and services within South East Asia.  The website has been created to help companies initiate trade within the region is a centre of excellence to be used as a source of important information to formalise an export strategy. It is envisaged that the website will be a focal point for International activities between the West Midlands and South East Asia and will predominantly focus on Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines.

The website project has been financed through the European Community European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and was launched at a prestigious event at the Britannia Stadium, Stoke on Trent on Friday 27th October 2006.  The High Profile seminar was graced by His Excellency  Edgardo B. Espiritu, the Philippines Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Iceland, , who took the Keynote Address.  The seminar was hosted by Staffordshire Chamber Services, the ASEAN UK Business Forum and the Midlands World Trade Forum.
